Effective date: [8/1/2026]. These policies apply to all services and parts provided by Precision DPF Services at our Katy, TX and New Caney, TX locations.
Shipping Policy
Inbound filters. Customers may ship DPFs, DOCs, and other aftertreatment components to us for cleaning and testing. Please drain and bag components before boxing, include your contact information and a description of the concern inside the package, and ship to:
Precision DPF Services 3740 N Mason Rd, Ste E Katy, TX 77449
Call us before shipping so we can log your inbound part and schedule it for service on arrival.
Freight and shipping costs. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for inbound and outbound shipping costs. We will select an appropriate carrier and packaging for return shipment; expedited shipping is available at the customer's request and expense.
Packaging and damage. Diesel particulate filters are ceramic-core components and must be packed to withstand freight handling. We are not responsible for damage that occurs in transit to our facility. Parts we ship out are professionally packaged; if a shipment arrives damaged, note the damage with the carrier at delivery, keep all packaging, and contact us within [2] business days so we can file the carrier claim with you.
Turnaround. Standard cleaning turnaround is [1–2] business days from receipt, plus transit time. We will contact you with results and any findings before return shipment.
Limited Warranty Policy
No Warranty: The customer acknowledges that no warranty is offered if the customer elects to have a non-affiliated third party perform the diagnostic assessment, removal, or reinstallation of the unit(s) rather than Precision DPF Services (“the Company”).
6-Month Warranty: If the customer elects to have Precision DPF Services (“the Company”) perform the removal and reinstallation of the unit(s), the Company provides a six-month limited warranty (owner-operators). This warranty covers one free re-cleaning if the DPF becomes clogged again during the warranty period, as confirmed by a diagnostic assessment using approved diesel troubleshooting software. The warranty is void if the filter is determined to have been contaminated, clogged, plugged, or otherwise damaged by an upstream mechanical issue — an “upstream issue” being any malfunctioning, faulty, misaligned, or damaged component, part, or system that directly or indirectly affects the exhaust/aftertreatment system.
Making a Warranty Claim: To make a valid warranty claim, the customer must, within the warranty period: (1) notify Precision DPF Services of the complaint; (2) bring the vehicle to Precision DPF Services or an affiliated diesel repair shop for inspection; and (3) have a diagnostic assessment completed and a copy of the resulting report provided to Precision DPF Services. A claim is valid only if all three steps are met and the diagnostic assessment confirms the source of the premature clogging.
Limitations & Conditions: The warranty is void if the customer declines recommended repairs to any upstream component that Precision DPF Services has identified or advised the customer of — including but not limited to the EGR valve or cooler, required sensor replacements, or any other known malfunctioning component — where that condition could cause re-clogging or contamination of the aftertreatment system after cleaning.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover: (i) filters contaminated by oil, coolant, or diesel fuel; and (ii) labor, parts, or hardware, including but not limited to gaskets, clamps, bolts, or bungs.
Claim Resolution: The customer acknowledges that resolution of a valid warranty claim is limited to a discounted or complimentary DPF cleaning and does not include labor or hardware costs.
Payment Policy
Payment Terms: Strictly Cash, EFS Check, ComCheck, or approved Credit Card or third-party financing. Payment is due in full upon completion of services and must be made at the time of vehicle pickup. If payment is not received and the vehicle is not picked up within three (3) days of the invoice due date, Precision DPF Services reserves the right to charge an on-site storage fee of $20 per day until the balance is paid and vehicle collected. It is understood and I agree to pay carrying charges of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) on any balance unpaid after the 3rd day post invoice due date.
